OUR STAFF

LOVE

CAMP

We asked recent staff members, “What do you love about working at Concordia Language Villages?” Here’s what they had to say.

"CLV, especially Skogfjorden, is home"

The Language Villages, especially Skogfjorden, is home. It’s a place where people from many countries, cultures and backgrounds come together with a common goal. We embrace and celebrate our differences of language and background.

Kirsten (Eli) | Norwegian Language Village

"It’s a privilege to work and learn with them"

The people at Concordia Language Villages are great. The staff and students are an interesting mix of native French speakers, professional teachers, students, world travelers and medical providers. It’s a privilege to work and learn with them.

Catherine (Cati) | French Language Villlage

"I love working here because it’s...unlike anything else"

I love working here because it’s...unlike anything else. If you go to a country, it's not locals' job to help teach you the language. But with our immersion environment, it *is* every staff member’s job. I fell in love with our immersion model as a camper and…I get to give the next generation of language learners that experience, too.

Paul (Adrián) | Spanish Language Village

"Working here is a differentiator in my life!"

Working here is a differentiator in my life! Diversity and respect get along very well! The Villages are a melting pot of different nationalities, which helped me understand my own culture even better. I am quite proud of having Concordia Language Villages on my background!
