Minimum registration fee $300 Our two-week programs are our most popular, providing an opportunity to become truly immersed in Village life! Villagers build and enhance their language skills through small and large group learning activities, and by hearing and using the language - with the encouragement of our supportive staff - throughout their daily activities. By engaging in a variety of music, arts, sports and classic summer camp activities like campfires, singing songs, and more, villagers can increase their confidence, improve their language ability, and grow to become courageous global citizens. These programs welcome language learners of all levels.

Minimum registration fee: $75 Our Adventure Day Camp programs are perfect for younger villagers who want to experience new languages and cultures in a fun and supportive learning environment but are not quite ready for an overnight experience yet. Day camps provide an opportunity to explore the language of the Village through games, arts & crafts, singing, sports, and more. Lunch is provided each day, and day campers will have opportunities to participate in some activities alongside overnight campers. IMPORTANT: In order to manage space constraints at the Spanish site, this session of Adventure Day Camp will be held at the site of the Swedish Village, which is located near the Spanish Village. All programming will be in Spanish and led by Spanish-speaking staff. Program runs Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm

Minimum registration fee $150 Our one-week programs are perfect for villagers who are ready to experience an overnight camp but can't fit a longer program into busy summer schedules, or aren't quite ready for a longer time away from home. These programs provide an opportunity to explore the language through small and large group learning activities and immersive daily experiences. Plus, you'll get to do all the fun arts, crafts, games and cultural exploration of the Language Village camp experience, along with traditional summer camp activities like campfires, singing songs, and making new friends. These programs welcome language learners of all levels. In order to provide Spanish program options for as many villagers as possible, we will offer three additional Spanish one-week overnight sessions (starting June 29, July 6, and July 13) which will be housed in cabins at the Swedish Village site. This site is a 10-minute walk from the Spanish Village. These cabins will only include Spanish villagers. Meals and the majority of program activities during the day will take place at the Spanish Village alongside villagers in our two- and four- week programs. Villagers who register for these one-week programs should plan to be dropped off at the Swedish Village on their first day of camp in order to move into their cabins.

Minimum registration fee $600 Want to gain an entire year’s worth of high school language credit in just four weeks? Our High School Credit programs are for you! In addition to classes with formal language instruction, credit villagers can choose from a variety of elective activities, as well as classic summer camp favorites like campfires, singing songs, and more - all in the language of the Village. Each four-week session is divided by an interim weekend, during which villagers have the opportunity to call home, do their laundry, and take a break from the intensive activity of Village life. These programs welcome language learners of all levels. Fully accredited by Cognia, credit programs include standardized curriculums, assessments, and transcripts to meet your local school system’s requirements. Please check with your school district in advance to ensure that credit from Cognia will be accepted if you wish to have the credit reflected on your villager’s high school transcript. This session may include an offsite overnight trip via van to camp one night at Lake Bemidji State Park. High school credit sessions are designed for villagers entering grades 9 and up in Fall 2026.

These programs welcome language learners of all levels. Fully accredited by Cognia, credit programs include standardized curriculums, assessments, and transcripts to meet your local school system’s requirements. One of Germany’s most time-honored traditions is embarking on an apprenticeship and becoming a Lehrling. In Waldsee's German Apprentice Program*, you'll learn German by working half-time developing a community skill auf deutsch and half-time in regular Waldsee learning groups. Waldsee apprentices live with other Waldsee participants and join in village activities, but also contribute to the Waldsee community and develop a work skill at the same time, learning from master teachers and experts in their field. All 4-week credit villagers will be expected to to go on an overnight camping trip to a nearby state park or other natural area off of our campus. Villagers may have the option of hiking, biking or canoeing to these locations, in addition to taking our van. Villagers who canoe must pass a deep water swim test in order to participate. All in-Village safety protocols are followed on these trips. *Accommodations/modifications to the itinerary will be made for individuals as we are able.
