The Dual Credit language program gives motivated high school students the chance to earn one full year of high school language credit and three semester hours of college language credit from Concordia College — in just four weeks at Concordia Language Villages summer camp in Bemidji, Minnesota! This gives students a head start on college requirements while accelerating their high school progress.
In summer 2027 we have dual credit programs offered for French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Finnish.
Dual Credit is for rising juniors through graduating high school seniors and will be living and residing alongside peers who are also working to improve their language and cultural skills in a parallel program for high school credit.
Participation in dual credit programs is not automatic and requires an application and approval.
1. Students enroll in Dual Credit language course.
2. Applications are reviewed, high school transcript sent in, and determination for eligibility and program fit is made by review team.
3. Approved students receive confirmation and next steps for enrollment.
In addition to our Dual Credit Programs, Concordia Language Villages also offers High School Credit programs in 14 languages and is now offering College Credit programs for older students and young professionals.
