El Lago del Bosque-Bemidji is located on the southern shores of beautiful Turtle River Lake. The cabins are made to resemble an authentic Spanish architecture complete with a central plaza and fountain to highlight the gathering place. Having a central plaza is typical of Spanish-speaking cultures, so the people can share a dance or song.
Many of the activities that take place in large group settings will happen in the main square. In addition, there is ample space for volleyball and basketball courts, a soccer field, a waterfront with canoes, a bonfire for the evening fogata and many other spaces.
Cabins are furnished with bunk beds and bathrooms with private shower facilities.
This site is used year-round and the cabins are winterized. During the winter, one may also use the Nordic ski trails located conveniently on site. El Lago del Bosque can comfortably accommodate participants in youth, adult, family and educator programs.
