Two-Week Youth Immersion | Ages 12-15

For language learners who are ready for a longer experience, the two-week Spanish immersion summer program will improve general knowledge and comprehension of the Spanish language and the variety of cultures that accompany it. Two-week participants do not need to have any experience in the language they choose to study.
An additional week of a Spanish immersion summer program has the advantage of the villagers coming away with a substantial amount of new information that can help them gain increased confidence for their Spanish class in the fall. Plus, it’s double the fun!

Villagers will learn more, understand more and remember more. And with two weeks of swimming, canoeing, sports, traditional arts and crafts, new songs, new flavors and new friends, they’ll be participating in the language with ease and confidence before they know it!
Typical Day
This sample schedule will vary depending on the age of villagers and session length and from year to year and site to site, but basic activities remain the same at our Spanish immersion summer program. These things include fun activities, delicious food, a mix of structured and free time, music and sports, choices of activities — and of course, complete immersion in the Spanish language and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world!
