About the Village

Ciao and benvenuto to Lago del Bosco, our Italian Language Village. Here, villagers of all ages can dive into the language, flavors, style and traditions of sunny Italy—all against the backdrop of the North Woods of Minnesota. From art to opera to cuisine, you’ll explore the history and culture of Italy in an immersive setting that brings language alive. Learn to dance the tarantella, make your own ravioli and star in your own opera. Stay active playing calcio (soccer) and roverino (a unique, competitive Italian ring-toss game), and test your mental prowess with scacchi (chess with large pieces). You’ll experience la dolce vita every day at Lago del Bosco!
