When joining us for an academic-year Spanish Virtual Village high school credit program, villagers get to bring the Villages to their own neck of the woods.
Both our year-long and fall-only options follow the same schedule format:
In the Fall-only semester program, villagers and their school will receive an official transcript for the semester that includes a grade for the semester, the grade components, a narrative evaluation, a course syllabus and their completed learning portfolio of the semester. The program runs for 12 weeks, with five hours of synchronous learning and approximately two and a half asynchronous hours (independent work) per week. Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8 p.m. Central time.
In the year-long option, villagers will receive a semester grade and transcript at the end of the fall semester, and a final year-end course grade and transcript at the end of the second semester with all of the above for your school to review. The program follows the same schedule as the semester course and runs for 24 weeks.
Concordia Language Villages is excited to offer participants new opportunities to begin or continue their adventure in language and cultural learning. Experience fun, interactive language learning and cultural activities — all from home. The four precepts of the CLVway will continue to be the backbone of your immersion experience.
