Club El Lago del Bosque offers a variety of culturally authentic activities and the opportunity to practice Spanish language skills outside the classroom for villagers ages 11-18. These hands-on learning experiences meet once a week for six weeks to dive into cultural practices from around the Spanish-speaking world such as cooking, dancing and more! Additional asynchronous activities for villagers to complete at home will be provided to maximize the fun!
Club sessions meet on Tuesdays, 6-7 p.m. Central.
All language levels are welcome. Where possible, villagers will be grouped by similar proficiency and age. Staff to villager ratio of 1:6, on average. Sessions meet once per week for 60 minutes over Zoom.
For intermediate to advanced Spanish speakers, our High School Conversation Group is perfect for those who want to practice and expand speaking skills with native speakers from the Hispanic world while having fun and engaging in cultural activities. We look forward to welcoming villagers ages 13-18 weekly for a six-week cultural and linguistic journey.
High School Conversation Group meets on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Central.
