Science Day Camp | Ages 6-11
Concordia Language Villages will require all participants eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine to be fully vaccinated prior to arrival at a residential session, effective September 1, 2021. Read our vaccine FAQ for more information.
Science is a global language linking young and old around the world. Kids ages 6-11 can join in hands-on adventures in science at Waldsee, the German Language Village!
Experience the wonders of science with all of your senses—touch, taste, sight, smell and hearing! Take advantage of Waldsee’s beautiful North Woods lakeside location just 15 minutes northeast of Bemidji, Minn., for first-hand discoveries of nature. Kids in Waldsee’s Science Day Camp use teamwork and creative problem solving to unlock the wonders of science through experimentation and innovation.

A science day camp lab experiment in our ultra-modern energy efficient
Waldsee BioHaus, the first certified passive house in North America.
Language Use: You can use your English along the way, but because the tie between science and the German language is strong, don’t be surprised if Albert Einstein joins you for some fun and teaches you a little German too!
Lunch is Included! We cook and bake all of our meals from scratch. Lunch may be a family-style meal served in the dining hall or it may be a picnic by the lake. If your child has special dietary needs or allergies, please use our health form to specify them. We also recognize and accommodate most vegetarian-style preferences.
