Waldsee is proud to offer a day camp program at our architectually authentic site on Turtle River Lake just outside Bemidji, Minn.  Children ages 6-11 will explore German language through nature, music, sports, games, dance, arts, crafts and delicious food in our unique immersion program. The Waldsee Adventure Day Camp program introduces children to authentic, contextualized and active language instruction. The program provides a great beginning for future language study, whether in school or at Concordia Language Villages.

The Waldsee Adventure Day Camps run right along side our residential camp programs so they are an excellent way for younger villagers to try out Waldsee before committing to a one- or two-week overnight session.

Specialty Day Camps

Science Day Camp is offered for kids ages 6-11. Kids in Waldsee's Science Day Camp use teamwork and creative problem solving to unlock the wonders of science through experimentation and innovation.

Waldsee and Auf Ballhöhe, a German youth soccer organization, are cooperating to offer German Soccer Adventure Day Camp, for participants ages 6-15. At the day camp, German and American coaches will share Germany’s winning tradition with our campers by engaging them in the same training German kids receive, and by introducing the campers to the German language and culture.

Explore the World of the Brothers Grimm with Waldsee’s Arts and Theater Adventure Day Camp for kids ages 6-11. Each day you will cross the border into a different fairy tale.
