Two-Week Youth Immersion | Ages 12-15
Concordia Language Villages will require all participants eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine to be fully vaccinated prior to arrival at a residential session, effective September 1, 2021. Read our vaccine FAQ for more information.

All programs—no matter how long or short they may be—offer the authentic Concordia Language Villages immersion experience. Villagers experience the “grand simulation” of living in another language and participating in cultural activities from a variety of French-speaking countries. They learn language, culture and global perspectives through their counselors who hail from all corners of the globe. The natural setting of Minnesota's North Woods and the small, close-knit community of the Villages offer a safe and comfortable environment in which to explore and learn.
With nearly three times as many program days (not counting arrival and departure days) as the one-week youth exploration sessions, youth immersion villagers experience a variety of learning group and activity themes as they encounter a wider swath of francophone culture as well as having more opportunities to extend their language skills and personal growth. The learning curve in a language immersion environment tends to be exponential, and with two weeks to develop their skills, language learners can really blossom! Open to all proficiency levels, ages 8–18.
Lac du Bois offers villagers the chance to live, learn and play in a Village mirroring the architecture of various regions of France. Learn more about life at Lac du Bois.
Note: The Les Voyageurs program also offers two-week sessions. At Les Voyageurs, two-week villagers take part in the Grand Voyage, a six-day canoeing and camping adventure. Learn more about the Les Voyageurs two-week program.
Concordia Language Villages reserves the right to consolidate or cancel sessions that are below minimum enrollment levels.
