Our two-week Youth Immersion program is open to ages 8-18 of all language proficiency levels, including beginners. Villagers in two-week sessions gain and enhance language and culture skills through an immersion experience embedded in daily life featuring games, sports, crafts, music, outdoor activities, etc. Emphasis is on listening comprehension and speaking.

Typical Day

Päiväohjelma (Daily Schedule)

Every day is different from the one before, but here’s something to give you an idea of what it’s like to be a Salolampilainen (Salolampi villager). The Finnish fun starts the moment you say hyvää huomenta (good morning) and doesn’t stop until you leave the evening nuotio (campfire) and say hyvää yötä (good night) to your new friends.

Jokainen päivä on erilainen, mutta tästä saat kuvan minkälainen on normaali päivä Salolammella.
