Our one-week Youth Exploration is a great introduction to the Finnish language learners of all levels, ages 7-18. With an emphasis on listening comprehension and speaking, villagers explore language and culture through an introductory immersion experience. At Salolampi, language is learned through games, sports, crafts, music, outdoor activities, and more!

Typical Day

Päiväohjelma (Daily Schedule)

Every day is different from the one before, but here’s something to give you an idea of what it’s like to be a Salolampilainen (Salolampi villager). The Finnish fun starts the moment you say hyvää huomenta (good morning) and doesn’t stop until you leave the evening nuotio (campfire) and say hyvää yötä (good night) to your new friends.

Jokainen päivä on erilainen, mutta tästä saat kuvan minkälainen on normaali päivä Salolammella.
