Villagers at Mar e Floresta stay active through a number of fun activites typical of the Lusophone world. One of them is obviously futebol, the most popular sport in the world and one in which both Brazil and Portugal, winners of the 2016 Euro Cup, excel. A lesser known sport is capoeira, a combination of martial arts/dance from Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. But there is also basquetebol (basketball), arco e flecha (archery), and traditional American summer camp activities such as canoagem (canoeing), natação (swimming), water games, camp crafts, and, of course, foquieras (campfires).
