Japanese Virtual Club Sessions | Concordia Language Villages

Japanese Virtual Club | Ages 10-18

Club Mori no Ike offers a variety of culturally authentic activities, taught in Japanese, for villagers ages 10-18. These hands-on learning experiences meet once a week for six weeks to dive into cultural practices from around the Japanese-speaking world such as cooking, singing, dancing and more! Additional asynchronous activities for villagers to complete at home will be provided to maximize the fun!

Whether in an immersion school setting or wanting to take a dive into Japanese for the first time, villagers are set on the road to becoming global citizens. Club Mori no Ike can extend their Japanese learning from school or give them an introduction to Japanese before they enter higher-level language classes.

All language levels are welcome. Where possible, villagers will be grouped by similar proficiency and age. Staff to villager ratio of 1:6, on average. Club Mori no Ike meets on Saturdays (February 4-March 11, 2023), Noon-1 p.m. Central, pending sufficient enrollment. Registration closes on January 27, 2023!

Some complex global topics of cultural relevance may be discussed in English with references to target-language culture(s). Sessions are COPPA and FERPA compliant.

Concordia Language Villages reserves the right to consolidate or cancel sessions that are below minimum enrollment levels.
