German Summer Virtual High School Credit | Concordia Language Villages

German Summer Virtual High School Credit | Grades 9-12

Villagers in grades 9-12 can take advantage of our summer Virtual Village high school credit program and earn a year’s worth of German credit in just four weeks!

Like the academic-year sessions, villagers and their school will receive an official transcript that includes a grade for the session, the grade components, a narrative evaluation, a course syllabus of content and their completed learning portfolio.

Classes meet for seven and a half hours between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Central Monday through Saturday throughout the entirety of the program. Asynchronous hours will typically average two hours daily — one hour for activities and one hour for independent study time. Synchronous and asynchronous hours will total 180 hours at the end of the program.

A typical day might contain two separate group sessions, supported independent work, interactive games, cultural immersion projects, a long-term portfolio project, research assignments and homework.
