German Virtual Class | Concordia Language Villages

German Virtual Class | Ages 10-18

Villagers ages 10-18 have the opportunity to take their German language learning one step further. These classes can be utilized as a stand-alone to keep villagers on track with their at-home language study, or it can be introduced when there’s a scheduling conflict to ensure they’re still getting their German language for the semester or year. Classes are offered over Zoom Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m. Central.

German Virtual Village Classes offer a rigorous academic experience in a real-time interactive small group setting. Villagers experience language and cultural learning as a hands-on journey to increased language proficiency, with a focus on comprehension and production. Asynchronous activities for villagers to complete at home will be provided to extend learning.

All language levels welcome. Where possible, villagers will be grouped by similar proficiency and age. Staff to villager ratio of 1:7, on average.

Some complex global topics of cultural relevance may be discussed in English with references to target-language culture(s). Sessions are COPPA and FERPA compliant.

Concordia Language Villages reserves the right to consolidate or cancel sessions that are below minimum enrollment levels.
