Live the languages and culture of Switzerland with Helvetia, Waldsee's Swiss adventure program. Helvetia offers a great experience to explore Swiss culture and gain exposure to Switzerland’s other two major languages – French and Italian – together with a sampling of Swiss cuisine.
During the two-week session, villagers in the Helvetia program will engage in a whole variety of activities, including: climbing our own Matterhorn ropes course, trying your hand at boules, learning the Swiss folk art of Scherenschnitte, playing the crazy Swiss game of Hornussen, or participating in the Swiss chocolate game. Helvetia is a whole new world of immersion learning.
An exciting part of the Helvetia adventure program is participating in exchanges and joint programs with our neighboring French village, Lac du Bois, or with our Italian Language Village, Lago del Bosco.
We also offer a Swiss week at the end of August – for both youth and families.
