Villagers in ages 8-12 can extend their French learning with Club Lac du Bois, meeting Wednesdays from 4-5 p.m. Central. Whether in an immersion school setting or wanting to take a dive into French for the first time, villagers are set on the road to becoming global citizens. Club Lac du Bois can extend their French learning from school or give them an introduction to French before they enter high school language classes.
Villagers ages 13-18 join us Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Central for Club Lac du Bois where they can practice their French language skills outside the classroom.
Club Lac Du Bois offers a variety of culturally authentic activities, taught in French, for villagers ages 8-18. These hands-on learning experiences meet once a week for six weeks to dive into cultural practices from around the francophone world such as cooking, singing, dancing and more! Additional asynchronous activities for villagers to complete at home will be provided to maximize the fun!
All language levels welcome. Where possible, villagers will be grouped by similar proficiency and age. Staff to villager ratio of 1:6, on average. Sessions meet once per week for 60 minutes over Zoom; schedules are determined by each Virtual Village Club.
