Transportation Assistant

Our J-I Visa does not authorize us to hire any of these support positions from outside the United States. Support positions are for U.S. citizens only.

Locations

Qualifications

Must be at least 19 years old
Valid current driver’s license with good driving record
Good organizational skills
Good communication skills
Experience supervising youth ages 7-18 preferred
Basic First Aid and Adult CPR preferred (required for some positions)

Responsibilities

Supervise villagers at transportation location (airport, bus/van, transportation center or overnight location)
Supervise bus loading/unloading
Help keep weekly transportation charter plan on schedule
Assist villagers with airport procedures
Demonstrate care for villagers' safety and well being
Provide a positive public relations image for all Language Village constituents (villagers, villager parents, Village staff, vendors and others)

Compensation

Starting at $9.50 an hour. Most shifts provide a meal component and uniform.
