My name is Noëmie, and I came to be a mono at Lac du Bois thanks to the summer I spent as a credit villager at Mori no ike, the Japanese village, a long time ago. This is my 3rd year at Lac du Bois Hackensack, and this year I'm teaching atelier and francofolie and coordinating the art program. I'm from Interlochen, Michigan, where I studied visual arts at Interlochen Arts Academy; currently I'm a Comparative Languages and Linguistics (French/Japanese) major at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. In August I will go to Morioka, Japan for a semester abroad with Earlham's Studies in Cross-Cultural Education program. I'm extremely happy to be back at Lac du Bois again this year!
