Nicole “Céline”
Vlach is American. She lives near Chicago, Illinois. Although a native English
speaker, Celine also speaks French and Spanish. Currently, she works as a nanny
and a teacher/French tutor at Huntington Learning Center. In 2000, she spent a
semester in Angers, France (Loire Valley), where she studied the French language,
phonetics, grammar, written expression, and oral comprehension. She has her B.A.
degree in Elementary Education and a French minor/endorsement for the middle grades.
Recently, she received her TEFL certificate (Teachers of English as a Foreign
Language) and hopes to find employment in France for the upcoming school year.
This is her fifth year at Lac du Bois.
