Veillée: Evening Program
After eating supper, the villagers go to their cabins to prepare for the evening program, or Veillée. Veillées differ from night to night, but they usually fall into one of three categories: Station Game, Performance, or Simulation. In a station game, the villagers go from station to station, learning something new or doing something different each time. In a performance, the villagers are given a theme for a song or a play, and given time to prepare something, after which they perform it for the entire village. A simulation is an activity that attempts to simulate real life events.
