Welcome to lac du bois Bemidji where the main target is to learn French  while having as much fun as possible. This way of teaching a language enables children to be really interested in this project and also facilitates greater learning. However our job is not only to teach them a language. As a matter of fact, one of our main objectives is also to introduce them to different francophone cultures:  French culture, of course, but also Belgium, Cameroon, Senegal and many others... This is accomplished through themed days where villagers have the opportunity to be immersed in different cultures.
