Excursions

excursion to the twin cities

We love to visit places outside of the camp. Here are some examples of excursions we went on:

National Eagle Center

We went  National Eagle Center with our Brain Train groups. We saw an eagle and other cool things. It was really fun.

Sandy Point Beach

We went to Sandy Point Beach by hiking. It was beautiful.

Mississippi River

We hiked a long way and we saw a really beautiful view. We had a picnic at the top. We had a delicious sandwich.

Hike to the bluffs

Mall of America/Twin Cities Trip

We visited either the Science Museum or Nicollet Island. We also went to Mall of America. It was a big, huge, enormous mall. It was in Bloomington. It covers 1.7 million square feet! There were lot of things:some roller coasters, ferris wheels, swings and food. There were a lot of gift shops, even video game shops.

Dairy Queen

It was one of our favorite excursions. We got free money to spend there. We ate delicious ice cream. Hurray for Dairy Queen!
