Welcome to Hometown USA!

Hometown USA is a camp located in Frontenac, Minnesota,  where you can experience an English language immersion program. There are different sessions: two weeks, four weeks or the four week Intensive English Program.  Villagers from all over the world and with different levels of English come to camp to improve their English skills. The program is completely in English and the counselors and the activities require you to speak only that language. Hometown USA is a Concordia Language Villages’ camp that has many camps all over the world for different languages. A session in Hometown USA is more than a language experience; you get in touch with other cultures and learn about the environment as well. Every single day in Hometown is a different experience for the Villagers because we "travel" around the English-speaking world learning about their history, cultures and food. We also have field trips that some villagers be able to go on to Minneapolis, St. Paul, the Mall of America, Eagle Center, a pow-wow, Lake Pepin, the Mississippi River and the movie theater.
