Day Four

July 17th, 2003

Andrew and Angel lead a decorations activity.  Angie and Lily create signs for their doors.

Angel displays a sign instructing villagers to be quiet after bedtime.

Molly led kickball for her activity.  Patricia gets a homerun!

Sean and Patricia wait to kick while Max gives it his best.

Jasmine and Alicia work with determination on their "Detective Game" project.  They solved puzzles to find out who was whom on a worksheet.

Mary demonstrates a perfect Butterfly position in Liv's afternoon yoga activity.

Above, Stella and Will also do yoga.  This position is called a "Shoulder Stand."

The final pose in yoga was "Dead Man's Pose," which gave villagers the opportunity to relax and refresh themselves before family visits.

On Thursdays, families from the Fargo-Moorhead area volunteer to "adopt" our villagers for about five hours in the evening.  Some activities include going to theme parks, water parks, movies, restaurants, or sports such as bowling or mini golf.

Villagers recall their nights with their host families to Kate.

Mitchell poses with a guitar and his two host sisters before saying goodbye.

Stella writes counselors names in Korean on our welcome board!
