City Council

Constitution of Hometown

§1 Every inhabitant of Hometown is equal.  It doesn’t matter what your age, your nationality, your religion, your skin color or your level of English is.

§2 In Hometown, and especially in Simtown, everybody should speak English. To be sure of that, the city council will enforce it by fines, which consist of five Homies. But before finally getting this fine, you have two warnings. This rule exists only during Simtown.

§3 To make life easier for everyone and to make communication better, everybody has to wear his/her nametag all the time. During Simtown everyone who doesn’t wear the nametag at all or who wears it under their clothes will get a fine.

§4 If somebody throws garbage on the ground and not in the trash he/she will get a fine of 10 Homies by the city councils or Parks & Rec.

§5 Everybody who insults somebody (in English or any other language), or who fights will be brought to the judge.

§6 The same rules apply to the destruction and/or theft of property.

§7 The taxes in Simtown are: for the Fine Arts Department and Parks & Rec 20% of their profit; and for every shop of the Chamber of Commerce, 10% on their profit.

§8 The City Council has the power to reset the prices in the Chamber on Commerce if they are too expensive. If they want to go over 10 Homies for a product they have to consult with the City Council.

§9 If you want to put a poster on a wall or on columns you have to pay a price, which is to be determined by the landlord (Ebeneezer) because the wall and columns are public, thus part of the City Council

§10 If anybody comes too late to Simtown Wrap-up the person has to pay 5 Homies and the branch the person is in has to pay 20 Homies.
