EL RefuGiO!!!

The refugio has long been a dream of El Lago del Bosque.  The refugio has been developed to give villagers the experience of living in the "real" bosque. At the moment, the program is 18 hours  consisting of survival skills, team building and an overnight stay on our current site.   What is even more unique about this program is the fact El Lago del Bosque is fortunate to have an experienced outdoor education teacher from Argentina. Some of the photos you see below will reflect this cultural component, other photos will show universal skills such as orienteering.  The groups that wish to participate in this program do so by cabin.

The dream is to have this program develop into one that will stand alone. We hope to be able to offer this in the near future once we move to our new village site at Wilder Forest in Stillwater, Minnesota.
