Charlas is the part of the day when the campers have much direct contact with the Spanish language. Through three 30-minute sessions in the morning and a Portfolio session, the villagers are presented with different themes.

During the Charlas sessions, the villagers are split into groups of 6-8 based on their Spanish knowledge. Within the different themes, many grammatical aspects and cultural views are presented in ways different from traditional teaching. Each villager is immersed in the Spanish language through different counselors’ cultures, traditions, accents and teaching methods.

Charlas es la parte del día cuando los chicos están más integrados al idioma español. Por tres sesiones de 30 minutos en la mañana, y también una sesión de Portafolios, los chicos aprenden sobre varios temas.

Durante las charlas, los aldeanos están en grupos de 6-8, divididos por su nivel de español. Entre los temas de las charlas, se encuentran los aspectos gramaticales y culturales en una manera diferente de la enseñanza escolar. Cada aldeano aprende con la experiencia de diversos consejeros; sus propias culturas, acentos, ideologías, y formas de enseñar.
