INTERNATIONAL
DAY 2004
Concordia Language Villages invites you to join us for an afternoon of fun, food
and cultural exchange at our International Day, Friday, August 13, 2004,
at Waldsee, our German Language Village near Bemidji, Minnesota.
SCHEDULE
2:00 p.m. Opening Program
2:45 p.m.- 5:15 p.m. Festival Activities: Shop the International Bazaar; eat
festival foods from around the
world; observe a model U.N. Summit; participate in a global activity.
Purchase food tickets at the Information Booth. Prices range from $1 to $3 for
delicious international delicacies.
5:30 p.m. Closing Ceremony: Each Village will perform a song or dance to
highlight our theme for 2004:
PEACE IS IN OUR
HANDS.
At the entrance to our Turtle River Lake site, staff will assist you with
parking. Shuttle buses will take you to the festival, starting at 1:00 p.m. and
continuing throughout the day. We kindly request that you leave pets at home.
