| El programa de crédito esta organizado de
acuerdo al nivel que tienen los estudiantes en el idioma Español y al mismo
tiempo cubre los requerimientos de las escuelas de los Estados unidos. Los
Alumnos de crédito reciben diariamente tres clases de gramática, literatura
e historia y una materia elegida, en la cual se imparte cultura Azteca,
Inca, Maya; arte, cocina, ecología, interpretación de textos y educación
musical para que ellos seleccionen el tema que deseen y así desarrollan las
habilidades del idioma. El estudio dirigido esta estructurado para que los alumnos reciban una atención personal de sus profesores en el apoyo de sus tareas y proyectos. Además participan en dos actividades diarias que son: danza, arte, canto, fútbol, playa, teatro, canoas y voley. En la noche participan en programas culturales en los cuales se incluyen danzas folklóricas, juegos culturales y costumbres diversas de países hispanos. Para el día internacional se preparan con anticipación con el apoyo de sus profesores para participar en un debate organizado simulando la cumbre de las Naciones Unidas con otras aldeas y cierran el programa con un baile relacionado a un país hispano. |

The credit program is structured according to the student's Spanish Language level and at the same time it meets the requirements of the USA schools. Credit students have three hours of grammar, literature, and history everyday. They also have an elective course from which they can choose Azteca, Inca or Maya, culture, art, cooking, ecology, text interpretation, or music education. They choose the subject they prefer and in this way the students are able to develop and improve the four language skills, which are writing, reading, listening, and speaking. Study Hall is designed for the students to have personal attention from their teachers and to accomplish homework and projects. Each day, they participate in two activities such as: dance, art, singing, soccer, swimming, theater, canoeing, and volleyball. In the evening they participate in various cultural programs which include Folklore dances, cultural games, and different Hispanic countries' customs. For the International Day, credit students prepare themselves with their teacher's support to get involved in the United Nations Summit with other villages. There is a colorful closing program where they perform a dance related to a Hispanic country. |
