¡Bienvenidos a El Lago del Bosque-Bemidji!

We are in our fifth summer at our permanent on Turtle River Lake and are enjoying the new Activity Center and the four new casas on La Colina.  We have capacity for 155 villagers and were full for the majority of the summer.  There is space for 80 credit villagers and 75 two-week villagers.

The staff this summer came from Mexico, Argentina, Spain and Ecuador as well as from all over the United States. One of our staff members just got back from two years of Peace Corps in Honduras.  Out of the 51 staff members this summer, 30 of them are returning staff. 

We have made great progress implementing our new two-week curriculum and the credit program had many new additions to the Electives courses.  We have also added several new Activities to the program such as gardening and mosaic art.  Next summer we hope to add kayaking, guitar, a radio and DJ equipment.
