Support the Villages
In 2010, Concordia Language Villages celebrated 50 years of preparing young people for responsible citizenship in our global community. What started with a two-week German program in 1961 has grown into internationally recognized immersion programs in 15 languages and seven architecturally authentic sites.
Concordia Language Villages are more than summer camps for youth. We offer year-round programming and training for youth, adults, families and businesses. In a Village community villagers gain understanding and sensitivity in another language, learn to respond creatively and critically to global issues, build friendships with others from around the world, and practice the principles of peace, justice and stewardship.
The success of the last 50 years is the result of generous support from those who believe in our mission. Gifts and grants are the primary source of funds for curriculum development, scholarship support and the construction of architecturally authentic sites. With your support we look forward to what we can accomplish in the next 50 years of Concordia Language Villages.
