Soiva Camp at Salolampi is a partnership between Concordia Language Villages, the Association of Finnish Music Schools, the Salolampi Foundation, Concordia College, Bemidji State University and the Finlandia Foundation. This program is limited to 25 students in advanced study of flute, piano, improvisation or composition and will be held June 15-22. Participants must have a minimum of two years private instruction in piano or flute.
Music instruction will be by teachers from Finland and from the United States and will take place at the music department of Bemidji State University. Participants will live at Salolampi, where the regular Salolampi staff will lead them in an immersion experience in Finnish language and culture.
