French, Lac du Bois
Villagers experience French language and culture through an immersion experience at Les Voyageurs featuring wilderness adventure and outdoor living. If you don't already know how, you'll learn to pitch a tent, split logs, cook over an open fire, identify plants and birds, portage a canoe and paddle through sun and rain.
After an introduction to the history of the French fur trade in North America, our community of French-speaking enthusaists will take off on a canoe trip to discover northern Minnesota's pristine waterways in Voyageurs National Park. Your guides are experts at making sure all explorers take part in the fun.
Emphasis on listening comprehension and speaking. Open to all proficiency levels. No experience necessary.
