Sample Credit Projects
Extended projects allow credit villagers to explore an area that interests them, while they use and improve their language skills and cultural understanding. A hallmark of the credit program, credit projects are sometimes done by individual villagers and sometimes by a small group; most often, projects contribute to Village life and are shared with others. Research has shown their importance in a successful language learning experience. Check out some samples below.

Arabic Credit Project
This Al-Wāḥa credit villager designed a wall hanging for the Village dining room. Featured are images from the sky line of Jerusalem, as this is the name of the Arabic dining hall.

Chinese Credit Project
Chinese credit students wrote a play about their daily life at Sēn Lín Hú, created puppets out of paper and chopsticks, and performed their 15-minute creation for other villagers.

French Voyageur Credit Project
This French Voyageur credit villager created a dream catcher and presented research on stories and symbolism in Ojibwe culture.
