Rauno Tikkanen, Clarinet and Chamber music

Rauno Tikkanen earned his clarinet diploma studying with the clarinettist-conductor Osmo Vänskä at the prestigious Sibelius-Academy in Finland. As a conductor he has been studied by legendary Finnish professor Jorma Panula.

He was also the featured soloist and instructor at the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra for 14 years from 1987-2001. As a clarinet soloist and a chamber musician Rauno Tikkanen has performed in Germany, Italy, France, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, USA.
