Satu Ylönen

Satu Ylönen, Finnish Cello Instructor

Satu Ylönen studied cello at the Kuopio Music and Dance Academy and graduated in 2005. She has taken part in master classes run by Marko Ylönen, Istvan Cshurgay (Liszt Academy) and Jan-Erik Gustafsson. She has also studied in Budapest and in Paris. She has worked as a cellist in the Lohja city orchestra and in the Kuopio city orchestra. 
She is very open minded musician and her passion is new argentinean tango.

At the moment she is finishing studies at the Sibelius-Academy in Art Management. Since 2008, she has worked as a producer in the Finnish Music Schools Association producing events for music students. She has established a music camp in eastern Finland, Juuka soittaa ja soi www.juukasoittaa.com, and has served as camp director for four years.
