Japanese Twin Cities (Village Explorers) Day Camps

Twin Cities Day Camps are a great introduction to language, and a wonderful precursor to our overnight programs.  These programs are held at various locations throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.  Utilizing our trademark teaching methods, Twin Cities Day Camps include art, music, games and snacks to introduce the youngest learners to language and culture.  Program runs one week (5 days).

2011 Theme:  Wizards of Worldly Places!

Children will attend wizard academy, working their way through courses to become a Master Wizard - all in Japanese!  Using the target language, the soon-to-be wizards will learn magic tricks, solve word and picture puzzles, and make potions!   Each day will provide a new challenge as they earn their wand, hat, cauldron, crystal ball and spell book.  The young wizards will be transported to Japan where they will learn songs, play games, and do art projects in their mastery of all things magical!
