Adventure Day Camps (ages 6-11)

Schedule
With a passport in hand, your child will join a whole new world of adventure at Waldsee, the authentic German Language Village.
Every day is an adventure at Waldsee! Maybe you’d like to try the Swiss chocolate game, learn to fence, or try archery with Wilhelm Tell. Play on our iceberg on the lake, discover the fairy tale forest, or hide out in your own day camp tree house. Try your hand at Buntglas (stained glass) or Töpfern (pottery), or tempt your taste buds with Gummibären or homemade gelato. You and your friends will have fun and learn German along the way, naturally and with confidence!

Twin Cities (Village Explorers) Day Camps
Join us for Language Detectives: In Search of World Treasures! Children in the German day camps (Twin Cities) will become detectives as they search each day for hidden language and culture treasures. They will work with other detectives to solve mysteries - using maps, artwork, and landmarks in French or German-speaking cities around the world as their clues. Whether beginning language learners or advanced speakers, the detectives will utilize German as a tool for their adventures. Games, art projects, and songs will support their mission, and collaboration and imaginations will be key to solving the puzzles!
