Master of Education in World Language Instruction

The Master of Education Program is designed for working teachers, with coursework spanning two summers.

STARTALK Teacher Programs

STARTALK teachers learn and practice strategies for staying in the target language, formative and summative standards-based assessments of students' communication skills and cultural understanding, and content-based teaching strategies.

Qatar Professional Development Fellows Program For Current and Future Teachers of Arabic

The Qatar Professional Development Fellows Program for Current and Future Teachers of Arabic brings together K-16 Arabic language teachers from across the United States in an exciting three-step professional development program.

Teacher Seminars

Teacher Seminar participants examine past and present methods of teaching a world language while drawing on their own experiences to enhance the discussions and understandings. 

Dakota Language Workshops

Open to those currently teaching and those interested in teaching the Dakota language, teachers of all backgrounds and working in all settings are invited to participate.  The focus of the weekends will be developing one's own language skills in an engaging immersion setting, supported by First Speakers and other advanced speakers of Dakota.
