Bemidji Day Camps
We welcome young villagers ages 6-11 to a fun day camp experience at the authentic Norwegian Language Village north of Bemidji. With a passport in hand, your child will join a whole new world of adventure.
Norwegians love to explore — we’ve been doing it for centuries! Explore with us at Skogfjorden and see what you find: perhaps a message from the Vikings, a secret bålplass (campfire) for preparing pinnebrød on a stick, perhaps a polar bear, perhaps the nøkken troll under a bridge, or perhaps even the largest paper clip you have ever seen.
Every day is different, but we’ll always be exploring. Most explorations happen outdoors, so come prepared — dressed to go anywhere at any time!

Village Explorers Day Camps for children ages 6-11 are held on Turtle River Lake, just north of Bemidji.

9:00 Check-in, stow day packs
Parents may drop off child at camp
9-3 Day Camp
3:30 Transportation leaves Villages
Parents may pick up child at camp.
Lunch is provided.
