Lara Ravitch

Lara Ravitch is dean of Lesnoe Ozero, the Russian Language Village. She has been on staff for six years and was herself a villager at Lesnoe Ozero for two years. Lara has worked in the kitchen and as program staff at both the Russian and the French Language Villages. She speaks Russian, French, Spanish and Czech.

Lara graduated from Connecticut College with a bachelor of arts in theater and Russian and European studies and an international studies certificate. She completed her M.A. in teaching foreign languages, including a TESOL certificate with a language program administration concentration from Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Lara is an instructor in the communications department at Truman College, Chicago, Ill.
