Marcus Erickson

Marcus Marcos Erickson is dean of El Lago del Bosque - Callaway (first half), the Spanish Language Village.  He has been a staff member of Concordia Language Villages since 1991.  He is fluent in Spanish and German and has studied French and Portuguese.

Marcos earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and German education from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn.  He studied at the Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, and at Concordia's Institute of German Studies.  He earned his master's degree in Hispanic linguistics from Indiana University in Bloominton, Indiana.  Marcos taught high school Spanish in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and was dean of Spanish Village Weekends and a staff development associate for the Villages.  He is currently a doctoral student and associate instructor at Indiana University.
