Eric Dregni
Eric Dario Dregni is dean of Lago del Bosco, the Italian Language Village. Dario has been on staff at Concordia Language Villages since 2006.
Dario is currently working on his M.F.A. in creative writing at the University of Minnesota. He has an M.A. in Italian from the same university and a B.A. in music (English minor), from Macalester College in St. Paul. Dario earned an M. Ballini in accounting in Brescia, Italy, and he has spent more than four years in Italy (Brescia and Modena) and a year in Norway.
Dario has been a teaching assistant in both Italian and creative writing at the University of Minnesota; he was a teaching assistant for Garrison Keillor's class "Composition of Comedy." He is now a freelance writer and travel writer. Among Eric's published books are In Cod We Trust: Living the Norwegian Dream (2008), Weird Minnesota (2006), The Scooter Bible (2005), and "Grazie a Dio non sono bolognese!" Un Americano a Modena (Thank God I'm not from Bologna! An American in Modena) (2003).
