Brian Bohne

Brian R. Bohne began as the dean of the English Language Village, Hometown, China in 2008.  Bohne is fluent in Portuguese, and has also studied Spanish, Russian, French, German, and Arabic.

Bohne graduated from Bethel University with a bachelor's degree in Cross-Cultural Communication.  He continued his studies completing two M.A. degrees--one in Education from St. Thomas University and one in U.S. Constitutional History/Law from Hamline University and Law School.   Bohne was awarded the James Madison Fellowship for his studies at Hamline University and Law School. 

Bohne studied in Porto Alegre, Brazil, for a year as an exchange student.  He has led student groups to  Russia and Uzbekistan, and he has coached soccer teams traveling to Brazil, Germany, Kenya, and Spain.  Bohne also taught social studies and advised the Model United Nations student organization at American International School of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia for two years.   Currently, Bohne is a social studies teacher and world culture club advisor at Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Minnesota.
