Kirsten Addison
Kirsten Salome/Cristina Addison is dean of Mar e Floresta, the Portuguese Language Village, near Callaway, Minnesota. Cristina also serves as the dean of the Spanish Year-Round Programs in Bemidji, Minnesota. Cristina has been on staff at Concordia Language Villages since 1987 and was a villager for five years at the French Language Village, Lac du Bois. She is fluent in French, Spanish and Portuguese and has working knowledge of German.
Cristina graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish. She received a diploma in Hispanic studies from the University of Salamanca in Spain and a diploma in Portuguese studies from the University of Lisbon in Portugal. Cristina was a Rotary Exchange student to Mérida, Yucatan, Mexico. Most recently, she graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University as a chiropractic physician.
