Restaurantkveld på Skogfjorden

This evening we had a restaurantkveld which meant that the villagers had to coordinate with each other and make reservations for their group at our pop-up "restaurant".
Gimle, our dining hall, was transformed into a fransk (French) restaurant called Bébe Brasserie which had wonderfully delicious options for the campers to choose from. The menu included: Brie en Croùte (baked brie with fruit), Boeuf Bourguinon (beef burgundy), Croque Madame (ham and cheese sandwich with gravy and egg), Ratatouille (root vegetable casserole), Mousse au chocolat (chocolate mousse), and Madelines de lavender (French cookies).
The entire evening was a beautiful setting that allowed villagers to enjoy fine French dining while being able to listen to wonderful music performed by villagers and counselors during the meal. Friendships were created and renewed. among all of the villagers, You could hear the laughter, excitement, and wonderful conversations throughout the restaurant all evening.
We concluded our evening with an exciting Eurovision dance competition. Each cabin created and performed a dance from another country and it was followed by a village-wide dance. A perfect end to a perfect evening! Takk for en fin dag (Thanks for a great day)!
