Wan Shang Hao! Sēn Lín Hú has its evening activity (晚上活动, wan shang huo dong) every night at Da Hui Tang (大会堂). Tonight, we had Chinese ethnic minority dance and costume shows.
Zao shang hao! Villagers do morning exercise (早操, zao cao) every morning. They are learning from Huang lao shi and Tong lao shi.
Our counselors performed a story for us: the Emperor’s New Clothes. At the evening show, they gave us another show about an emperor, whose tea was poisoned. Who did that? We used Chinese to ask different witnesses, and finally we found him!
The nice weather let us go to the lake side for the campfire. We learned to sing the “Good Night Song”: Sēn Lín Hú, Sēn Lín Hú, Sēn Lín Hú, Sēn Lín Hú~
Sēn Lín Hú had its opening day yesterday. Everyone was more than excited. In the evening activity, Fudaoyuan men performed a chant (口号, kou hao) in Chinese. Come on and have a look!
This is the first day of Sēn Lín Hú. We moved to our new cabins, made our new name tags, played traditional Chinese games, learned songs in Chinese, and most importantly, making new friends!
